Today is a sad day has I got the news of death of Yash Chopra I have loved most of his films directed by him eternal rest grant unto his soul may his soul rest in peace.Yash Uncle you made my boring life more happy and joyful with your films music locales and direction and best scripts dialogues wereusp of your films God give your wife pammie aunty lots of courage to bear your loss and has you were a mentor to many newcomers today you have left many of them orphan with your absence has a senior person a guru to his shishyas and father figure for us youngsters. I am proud to be born on 27th september just like you  hope that I too could get sucess in my life just like you and your absence will be felt by all of us fans and wellwishers I hope Almighty God gives courage and peace to your family and loved ones

Hello friends I am back for good

I am very sorry friends I was away for too long but for now I am back. I love rainy seasons so many intresting foods recipes home remedies and reading discussions debates and intresting facts features will be part of my blogging adventure. My favourite tv show Satyamev Jayate is available on tv and it features lot intresting facts stories realities and social evils discussed and remedies to fight such evils is shown please support such shows which shows the mirror to society I feel it should be our resposibility to change society and spread the message of no tolerence to soial evil and old rudimentry customs and traditions which is destroying communities society and human race doesnt need such orthodox views customs in the 21st century. This year should be dedicated to the girl childs and implentations of her rights and infant and female mortality rates is increasing due want for a son which is most pathetic in a socety which worships female gods in all forms and discriminates girls in their own homes. I believe all educated persons should come forward and fight against such social evils like female infanticide, dowry, sati, rape, molestations, eve-teasing, bride burning, domestic violence and all other inequality against women in whole Indian society. I am sorry to say that a study in UK showed that India ranks among the worst countrie to be born a girl child where women are not safe from the time they are conceived till they grow up.

Thanks to heavenly father and Mother Mary  all inhabitants of this earth especially Mummy daddy and my little brother and close family friends and relatives for all your good wishes gifts and blessings. My heart is full of gratitude seeing love and happiness being showered on me by everyone. Yipee India Won and is now India is in the Finals in the World Cup 2011

The match was most intresting it had its moments of both triumphs and exit still no dull moment I enjoyed every single triump of the Indian side. God bless both teams for giving such a nail biting match and we remained glued to our Tvs till last ball and atlast team India won and was able to keep it record intact against Pak in the world cup now we face Srilanka in final hope to see India lift World Cup which is a dream of billion  Indians. Welcome Indian team in Mumbai and we are sure you will play your best in the finals. God bless Dhoni and his team mates also hope to see a good final match.

Most awaited match of the subcontinent India vs Pak is around corner at Mohali hope all goes well for both teams let them  not be too stressed but this seems unlikely they are sure to feel rumbling in their tummy  and tensions will be soaring and expectations will run high for both sides but I am sure both teams will have  the same determination to win come what may. My heart goes out to my friends in Japan who are facing this natural calamity Tsunami and its after effects and now with this manmade threat of Nuclear radiation could cost more lives in the coming days if not solved  right now. I hope and pray earnestly for Japan right now please help Japan and urge citizens of the world  especially  IAEA please help Japan to come out of this crisis. I cannot even imagine the suffering trauma uneasiness fear in the minds of Japanese people though they are resilient I  hope and pray that Lord gives them courage to come out of this crisis. I am earnestly praying for safe solution to this problem.World stands in need of Liberation my Lord  it still has to learn to love. Lord please help the world to come out of this global crisis that has engulfed Japan  and other countries at this vey moment my prayers and good wishes are with Japanese people they are most peace loving country and  I hope peace and well being comes back to Japan.We make this pray to Christ our Lord AMEN.

Happy Womens Day to all Women and Girls

I wish happy Womens day to all women especially to those women who work tirelessly keeping their home fires burning. Please pass the message of save the  girl child and to educate girls by educating one girls you educate the whole community.Its awe inspiring century being passed since women are celebrating  International Womens Day but the fight for equality for women continues till today since women and girls are still considered a liability in most homes rather than an asset and I wish all families who have welcomed girl child a big thank you and happy  womens day to them for liberating a girl child from societal norms and by educating girls they will not regret their decision since girls do make a larg contribution to families and society has a whole please continue to support women and girls throught your life because women are not treated fairly in most homes even after marriage they need parental emotional support which is vital anchor for most women throughout their lives and though they are capable enough to be independent please give them a chance to prove themselves and carve a new identity apart from being married and having kids women have an identity of a career women an independent woman who is great asset to her home and the nation as whole ..

A Prayer for World Peace

I pray for victims of Japanese Tsunami and Nuclear radiation threat and its effects due to  the earthquake NZ earthquake and peace in the middle east and throughout this world which is facing problems of violence unrest rising prices natural calamities inflation joblessness scarcity of basic human needs and lack of human rights and rampant corruption and degradation of basic human values and principles and no trust in  the Lord our creator who has created us and this beautiful earth we forget to acknowledge our  Lord in prayer and we show lack of trust in  our God  which is the main reason for unrest in society and the world. Please  Lord I beg you to pardon us and this selfish world  for the sins we all are committing day in day out without worrying of the consequences. Lord forgive us  and give us strength to realise our  wrongdoings and I thank heavenly father for all that he has given me and this world especially for the greatest sacrifice he has made for us by givng us  his only son our beloved  Lord Jesus Christ and we make this prayer  through  Jesus Christ our Lord AMEN  Prayer - maya Angelou  Father, Mother, God, Thank you for your presence during the hard and mean days. Winter Vegetables are must try this season

Green leafy vegetables like small methi  and carrots are must buy this season. Seasonal fruits like oranges strawberries grapes and bigger surprise mangoes like alphonso too have arrived this season. Raw mangoes tendli or gherkins fresh ponkh and tuvar beans and lovely green tomatoes are a must buy for making pickles.

Lord we Thank you for everything you have done for us we bow before our creator who has been good to us unworthy people Lord you only say a word and we shall be healed. Jesus Lord we love you and ask you to be with us till last day of our life we give our lives to you since you are the universal king and you own everything the only gift we have is our life and hearts we present that you Lord you own us we are your servants ask and you shall receive is what you said we ask for your love peace joy and happiness we experience you everyday but we fail to understand that everythin g happens for our God your humble servant request you to be there for me I want you Jesus in my life.God willing I shall be the change you expect me to become this year. Goodbye 2010 and Welcome 2011

I bid sweet farewell to 2010 and welcome the new year with hope and smile this year I like everyone faced joys tribulations agony happiness joy laughter and thank Lord for he has given us a year of anticipation I hope following year will be be good and I will be the change Lord wants me to be Jesus and our heavenly father I ask for forgiveness for my shortcoming I havent be a good child this year but I promise to be good or atleast better than before, hep me Lord to become a good child and better human being and also help me with my vocatin I want to apply for my  foreign visa and improve work prospects in a foreign land help me lord to gain gainful employment this coming year and make able to fulfill others dreams in a process fulfill your universal dream peace love joy and happiness for this I make my humble prayer to Jesus Christ our Lord. Christmas has brought baby Jesus into my home

Christmas festival has showered blessing of love joy and peace and thus baby Jesus comes into my home and my family welcomes this divine bundle of joy with open arms also love this cool winter season which is so serene and is full of hope joy and laughter. Christmas season brings us happiness and pure joy which comes on seeing new hope in the form of divine child Jesus who god send has a hope for mankind. 

Christmas Season about to begin let us welcome our Lord Jesus Christ Son of God

Christmas season is around the corner we are soon to going to welcome the Lord Jesus Son of God and Messiah of mankind who has taken the form of flesh and body and has become  a human baby born to  theVirgin Mary and Joseph a simple family  to experience life of human beings and we has humans have erred him so we ask forgiveness for our sins and promise to be good human beings and we all welcome our true king our saviour Lord Jesus who will be born once again this time not in Bethlehem but should be born in our hearts are we ready to welcome the Lord has baby Jesus is busy knocking the door of our hearts are we ready to listen to him I guess we are more busy with our wordly life and its whims and fancies that we forget to spend time with own families when will we have time for our Lord if we can remove time for all things I am sure we can remove a few minutes to thank the Lord who has given us so many countless gifts and most precious gift from them is the gift of his only son Lord Jesus who became man and who sacrificed himself so that we can enjoy wordly pleasures. Let us all make it a promise from this very moment to thank our heavenly father for giving us all the precious gifts we have and for little that we lack let us pray to God that one day we will be able to make ourselves proud to be the sons and daughters of our heavenly father ABBA by practcising daily what his son Jesus has taught  us" that is to love one another has I have loved you" these words of wisdom of Jesus is  true in todays times of hatred jealously power egos deceit greed violence abuse anarchy against all evils which is present in the world Lord save us make us strong enough to fight the forces of evil please Lord we need your love courage and strength to fight evil which ruling in everyones hearts God help me to be your disciple and let us all be able to worship God in our hearts and minds and fight for humanity and peace in this world Lord we make this pray in name of Jesus christ your son my Lord AMEN

Winter food for the soul

Winter is season to experiment has weather is cool and one can prepare hot meals for family and friends especially grilled food and hot piping tea coffee soups and milk based drinks are a must in every household I will be sharing some of my winter family delicacies with all of you shortly. I hope you will make them and enjoy them has they do in my family. Winter according to me is time to be cosy in a blanket having piping hot cocoa in one hand and eating freshly oven baked cookies in the other. I also like to have chai with namkeen and piping hot snacks. Soon I will be writing some recipes till then enjoy winter time holidays and seasons greetings to all of you I am antcipating for a new year blast also christmas isnt far Yipeeeeeeeee my favourite season has come.

Winter Soup for the soul
 Ingredients :
1 cup boiled chicken
1 cup boiled macroni
1 onion chopped finely
1 tsp garlic chopped finely
1 tsp ginger grated
1 tsp mixed dry herbs
1 cup chopped tomato
2 tsp coriander leaves
1/2 tsp pepper
1 seasoning cube
2 tsp butter
2 tsp oil
salt to taste
3 cups  water
Method :
In saucepan pour in oil and butter and add garlic and ginger then add onion  fry till turns light brown then add tomatoes add dry herbs, spices and seasoning then add chicken and fry for 2min then add  macroni pasta and water and boil and add coriander leaves and serve piping hot with garlic butter bread.

Hot chocolate milk
Ingredients :
500ml boil milk mixed with 2 tsp of cocoa
2 tsp fresh whipped cream for garnish
2 tsp chocolate syrup
2 tsp chocolate liquoer or brandy
Method :
In a bowl add above ingredients and mix well with blender and serve hot by garnishing with whipped cream and chocolate shavings.

Pakoras
Ingredients :
1 cup paneer cut into strips
1 cup capsicum strips
1 cup babycorn strips
1 cup cauliflower flowrets
1 cup potato slices
1 cup brinjal slices
1 cup bhindi also stuffed with chilly powder and amchoor
1 cup bhavanagri chillies stuffed chilly powder and amchoor
2 cup besan
1/2 cup riceflour
1/2 cup wheat flour
water added for batter consistency
salt to taste
1/2 tsp ajwain
1/2 tsp haldi
1/2 tsp jeera
oil for deep frying
Method :
In a kadai boil oil till ready for frying  and then  in a bowl mix besan and dry spices and  2tsp hot oil for mohan  then dip the veges in the batter and deep fry till crisp serve with ketchup and green chutney

Masala Chai
Ingredients for Chai masala :
20 gm white pepper
20 gm soonth
100 gm black pepper
10 gm cinnammon
20 elachi
10 gm nutmeg
Roast and grind above ingredients into fine powder and yield is 200gm
Ingredients for Chai :
1 cup water
1 tsp grated ginger
2 tsp tea leaves
2 tsp sugar
1/2 tsp chai masala
1 glass milk
6-7 mint leaves
Method :
In a saucepan boil water and add tea leaves and boil then add the above ingredients and boil for 2 min and strain tea and serve piping hot  with pakoras

Til or Sesame Laddoo
Ingredients :
1 cup white sesame or Til roasted
1/2 cup black sesame roasted
1/4 cup jaggery
1 tbsp sesame oil or desi ghee
1/2 tbsp soonth powder
1/2 tbsp gantola powder
1 tbsp magaz or melon seeds
1 tbsp Badam
Method :
In a kadai add ghee or oil and melt jaggery  then add soonth and gontola powder then add roasted sesame and add badam and mix well then remove from flame and keep to cool on a greased tray then when cooled make balls and serve.

Handi Biryani 
Ingredients :
1 tbsp ghee
1tsp whole spices mixture of  bayleaf cloves cinnamon and elachi
1 onion chopped finely
1 tbsp ginger garlic paste
1 tbsp kitchen king masala
pinch of haldi
1/2 tsp pepper powder
1 tbsp red chilly powder
1 tbsp kasoori methi
3 tomatoes chopped
1 1/2 cup mixed boiled vegetables or  2 cups cooked chicken pieces
1 tsp green chilly chopped
6-7  cloves and piece of coal in a vati add tsp of ghee
1 cup cooked rice 
Method :
In a nonstick handi add ghee and whole spices then add onion and fry till brown then add ginger garlic pastes and all dry spices then tomatoes and fry till leaves oil then add kasoori methi and vegetables and add then give a smoke effect to vegetable by keeping vati wih hot coal on it putting cloves adding ghee to it then cover the handi and give them for 2 min then remove the vati with tongs and add rice and split green chillies and coriander and pudina leaves and tsp of ghee and  2 -3 tsp kesar dissolved iwater for flavour and close handi with lid and keep to cook for 2-3 min on fast flame and 3-4 min on slow flame. Serve with raita

Carrot Halwa 
Ingredients :
1 kg  carrot
250 ml milk 
250 gm sugar
1tsp elachi
1/2 cup dryfruits
1 cup desi ghee
Method :
In a kadai add ghee then add carrot and fry till water dries then add sugar and milk and dryfruits and cook  till the mixture leaves sides add elachi and close flame and garnish with dryfruits and serve hot.
