Happy Thanksgiving Day to all my family and friends

Thank you Lord for giving us all the gifts this year and for family and friends who stood for each other in times of difficulties and in times of happiness. Lord Heavenly father we thank you for all bountiful gifts we have received from you day in and day out. Lord bless us and our family and all food and grains crops we have offer before you and water we received in form plentiful rains this year for bumper crops. Lord bless us in times of recession may our fanily and friends who have lost jobs and facing difficult times with rising costs and no earning members  be able to celebrate this thanksgiving day with smae fervour has us. Lord welcome your presence in our life. Lord please bless us all living beings of this world we need you r love an dyour support in form blessing my Lord we thank you and we bow in reverence before our heavenly father Abba we love you,we adore your,we thank you, praise you dad and your son Lord Jesus christ and the holy spirit who gives us strenghth in this trying times where we are not safe in this world but Blessed Virgin Mother Mary  and power bestowed by you  on her  and all angels and saints causes us great relief has their presence in our life makes us feel safe and sound in these uncertain times. We makes this prayer to christ our Lord Amen.

Chocolate Almond Fudge
1 teaspoon butter
2 teaspoons cocoa
1 can  sweetened condensed milk
3 cups semisweet chocolate chips
1 teaspoon Pure Vanilla Extract
1/2 cup boiled and peeled almond slices

Method :
In a saucepan melt butter add chocolate and condensed milk and add almond slice and vanilla extract then wait till chocolate melts and then remove from heat and pour in greased foil  tray and when cool referigerate and when done cut into pieces.

Old fashioned doughnuts :
1/2 cup cream
1/2 cup buttermilk
1 cup sugar
3 eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla essence
4 cups all-purpose flour
2 teaspoons baking powder
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1/4 teaspoon salt
Oil for deep frying

Method : 

In a large bowl, beat cream and buttermilk until smooth. Beat in sugar until smooth. Beat in eggs and vanilla just until combined. Combine the flour, baking powder, baking soda and salt. Gradually add flour mixture to buttermilk mixture just until combined (dough will be sticky). Cover and refrigerate for 2-3 hours.

Turn dough onto a well-floured surface; knead for 2-3 minutes or until smooth. Roll out to 1/2-in. thickness. Cut with a floured 2-1/2-in. doughnut cutter.
In a kadai, heat oil and  Fry doughnuts, a few at a time, for 3 minutes or until golden brown on each side. Fry doughnut holes until golden brown. Drain on paper towels. Dust with confectioners' sugar if desired. Yield: About 1-1/2 dozen doughnut
